F&M Middle East is Proud to Deliver Oman Pavilion at Expo Dubai before the Official Commencement of the Mega Event.

H.E.Mohsin bin Khamis Al Balushi, advisor at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Commissioner-General of the Sultanate at Expo 2020 Dubai, officially received Oman Pavilion at Expo Dubai from the main contracting company that carried out the construction and fit-out works.

The pavilion construction was launched in October 2019, located at the mobility district. The Pavilion is titled ‘Generations of Opportunity’ is based on storytelling of Luban and its life cycle. Each part of the life cycle allows us to explore opportunity through the themes of Growth, Harvest, Trade and Use. The Pavilion draws inspiration from local Omani nature, with the main source of inspiration being the Luban Tree.

F&M Middle East was assigned as the Lead Design and Site Supervision Consultant to conduct Concept Architectural Design Review & Concept Engineering Design, Interior Design for all non-exhibition spaces, Structural Design, MEP Designs including Fire Services Design, Infrastructure and Civil Works Design, Landscape design and Site Supervision.

The work was spearheaded by the award-winning SME, Innovation Factory for Scientific Research & Development Company (IF) along with the distinctive Omani Project Management Company MEEZAH.

Oman’s pavilion has been built according to the plans drawn up in coordination with the organising committee and relevant contracting companies. Although the mega event was rescheduled to October 2021, work continued with extra precautions to ensure the safety of workers, management staff, and visitors to the EXPO.
